UKTW Newsletter – License Exclusivity

From the 1 July 2006 our newsletter products TaxNews and NewsXtra will be granted subject to Post Code exclusivity.
We would like to maintain an open market for our newsletter products but are aware that there is a practical limit to the number of licensed users distributing our newsletters from a specific post code area.
From the 1 July 2006 the following terms will be added to our TaxNews and NewsXtra terms and conditions:

  1. UKTW will divide its UK market into defined post code blocks, for example BA1 to BA5.
  2. UKTW will allocate a fixed number of licenses per post code block. In practice this will be between 2 and 4 firms per block.
  3. Firms will be able to purchase 1 or more of the licenses available, and can also purchase licenses for branch offices at other locations.
  4. If UKTW receive applications to buy licenses in areas that are fully licensed, the applicant firms will be placed on a waiting list.

A UKTW license determines the right to use our newsletter service from an office located in a nominated post code block. It does not restrict licensed firms to sending newsletters to clients and prospects in the same post code area. Firms are free to send newsletters to any location.

If you have any queries regarding licensing please call 08452 722 377 or email info@uktaxworld.com
