All versions of this web site include a webstats facility that will allow extensive access to details of visitors to your site:
Entry Level
Specification:
Home Page: Text and graphics provided by member firm.
Products and Services: Multi page format, drop down lists, content and graphics provided by member firm.
About Us: Multi page format, drop down lists, content and graphics provided by member firm.
Contact Us: Optional single or multi page format, drop down lists, content and graphics provided by member firm. Can include links to site map providers or include graphic.
All of these pages can be updated by UKTW (edited, new pages added or deleted) on a monthly basis.
Tax Tips: Content updated by UKTW
Newsletter: Archive of UKTW newsletters including member firm edits and added articles. Updated by UKTW monthly.
Rates and Allowances: Updated by UKTW annually.
Tax Tools & Calculators: A range of tax tools and calculators updated by UKTW.
Online Services: A visitor to your site will need to register (leave their email address and name etc) in order to enter this part of the site. After registering or signing in your visitor will be able to access various Online Services. In more detail they are:
- Key Date Reminder – Registered users of your site will receive a series of emailed reminders from your practice. To pay tax, file returns etc. You will be able to add edit or delete the standard reminders set into the system.
- Business Library – Contains a number of extended articles on Business and Personal taxation. Will be updated monthly by UKTW.
By accessing Online Services your site visitors willalso be able to:
- Newsletter – Access a full archive of past newsletters
- BBC – Access live news feed from the BBC. This is also available from the spooled text on all web site pages.
- Calculators – There is separate access from within Online Services to the Calculators page.
Additional Benefits:
- Stats – We will provide a comprehensive web stats reporting system as part of the monthly fee. This will be accessible online at any time.
Price:
There are no upfront costs.
At Entry Level the monthly fee for hosting and managing the site is £65 plus VAT.
Due to the interaction with our newsletter database this web service will only be available to NewsXtra subscribers. (Current subscription price for NewsXtra is £60 per month).
Enhanced Level
Specification:
All of the features included in the Entry Level are retained in the Enhanced version of the MidiSite.
Additionally the following services will be available from the Online Services page:
Credit Checker – The web site icon links to the Equifax credit check service. Users will associate the service with your firm. Online payment is included for the usual range of credit check reports. Certain basic information is provided free:
- Company Name
- Registered Office
- Registered Number
- Date of Incorporation
- Latest Accounts Filed
Company Search – As for the Credit Check facility this icon links to a company search and reporting facility. Usual reports provided, online payment accepted.
Ask an Expert – This icon provides a link to your practice for web site visitors to ask questions. Encourages first contact, problem discussion and problem solution.
Dealmaker – An onlinesubscription service which provides information regarding businesses for sale, and businesses wanted. Updates emailed to registered users monthly.
DocSafe – This is apowerful and secure practice “Intranet” that will enable you to share files with your clients. You can manage all the services offered within the software, including:
- Set up password protection protocols
- Organise your own folder presentation system
- Upload files that all clients can see, or
- Upload files that only specific clients can see
- Coach your clients to upload files, accounts data backup’s etc.
The shared folders in the service are pre-populated with the Tax Tips and Tax Planning Articles from your web site.
This single resource will transform your web site into an interactive portal with your clients. It will extend the benefits of the paper-less office and save hours of admin time in providing instant, two-way access to critical documents and data, 24/7.

Contract term
Please note that all versions of the Midisite are subject to an initial 12 month contract, with 3 months notice required to cancel at the end of the first year.
